UPDATE: Last week, I was informed by a friend that her kitten, called Thing One, fell from the loft in their house onto the tile floor below. After a night under constant watch at the vet’s, it was confirmed that one hind leg was fractured, and that neurological problems had resulted from the fall. Now, after several days of expensive treatment, Thing One has been given the okay to return home.
She is still reluctant to use her legs, and prefers to remain sitting or laying down most of the time. She walks with a head-bob now when she does move, and may do so for the rest of her life, but we are all hopeful that her condition improved greatly over time.

So far, vet bills have reached $700.00 and will likely total far more. We have raised just under $300.00 at this time.
